About Us

Although our paths crossed outside of Settle, we are both from the local area.

Chris grew up on a farm outside Ingleton and is part of a large family in the area, who still live locally. Her family have been in the area since the 17th century. While Steve’s family is originally from Carelton, near Skipton and he has family in Wigglesworth and Gargrave.

We originally purchased the cottage to make it easier to visit family and introduce our daughters to the beauty of the Dales. Now we have opened it up for others to explore the area’s beauty and strive to provide a ‘home from home’ experience for our guests.

Now retired, we have moved to Settle and enjoy meeting our guests when possible. We hope you find everything you need whilst browsing, but if you have any questions we are only a call or email away.
